This little guy is such a hit in his wetsuit ... and he's out of it now because his bald patch healed.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Britain's got talent, here's one star who's a standout. No doubt this is just the beginning of a very long and rewarding performing career with a partner who is a shoe in for top dog and a crowd pleaser! Canine Freestyle steals the show.

Pet News bites

Good for the long haul... just keep the leash on. The dog ran off during a vacation trip but treked desert and mountains to make it right back home...with freshly applied eau de skunk.

Ten fun and wacky pet gadgets -- kicking off with Go Dog Go - the automatic fetch machine.
There's the treat launcher or poo freeze, a pet treadmill and a paw doorbell. What fun!

What are Pittens? Kittens adopted by a mama dog... the little ones need homes but mama Lilly is already spoken for.

Sheepdog - the two are buddies.

Fun on a treadmill...

Dogs as Healers, Imposter Outed and Elephant Painter

Dogs are helping to heal the wounds of PTSD and giving their owners a new lease on life. They say the meds can't touch what the dogs can do.

Imposter dog case is cracked in Oregon. Callie and Dixie --- oh glory be -- the kennel operater can't imagine how it could have happened --- were indeed switched while staying in the same pen over spring break.

Dog's Veterinarian plus Lawyer equals .... the rest of the story. The REAL Callie is now home - might be a good idea to find a different kennel.

I followed the story when the kennel owner said she could not be held responsible for owners who could not identify a pet (not a good business positioning statement) - even though he knew from the time he picked up the dog when she would not respond to a command nor did a former cat friend want anything to do with her - he had the wrong dog. He finally got xrays to make his case.

Bottom Line - from the original stoy.

["We know it's not Callie," veterinarian Andrea Frost said.

Best said she has done everything she can to reunite the proper dogs and owners.

"Mr. Griggs kind of lost his credibility with me the second time he came into the kennel with his family and reclaimed the same dog," she said. "If he can't recognize his dog, I don't feel I can be any help."

Griggs on Monday hired a lawyer. Best referred the brouhaha to her insurance company.]

And that is just another day at the races..... credibility shifted...

Pet News Bites - We name Dogs just like our Kids

Woman bites dog...to save her dog. It worked! She's ticked because the Pit was free until they decided it might be a health issue for her. Turns out the Pit was staying with a caretaker while waiting for a home at a no-kill shelter.

Angel the dog is amazing everyone with her odd genes. The one thing reporters haven't focused on... Angel needs a home!!

Go Max! - Dog names are sounding more like us... At the top of the list:
Max, Buddy, and Rocky - for females its Bella, Molly, and Lucy.

Fun with Jerry!
