Cat, Mouse - and happy endings

...Lessons from the Animal Kingdom....

Mr Li had a plan to get rid of a pesky house mouse. He said, "It was very foxy. I tried many ways to catch it, but it always escaped and then gained revenge on me by gnawing at the family utilities," he told Huashang Daily.

Li decided to borrow his neighbour's cat and he asked his neighbor to withhold food the night before just to make sure the cat was hungry...

Sure enough, the cat caught the mouse the next morning... sniffed it....then let it go and the mouse started attacking the cat. Friends now, they cuddle to nap.


He believes the cat's normal diet of chicken liver has left it too spoiled to eat mice.

....and maybe they each just needed a friend.
